NOTE: ALWAYS WEAR CUT-RESISTANT GLOVES WHEN WORKING WITH THE BELT CUTTER.
1. Remove Belt Cutter from carton and install handle using the cotter pin provided. Insert handle in the
socketuntilthegrooveinthehandlelinesupwiththecotterpinholeinthesocket.Insertandarethe
end of the cotter pin.
2. Install the 10" table extrusion by sliding the matching dovetails into the adjacent table section until it
butts up against the bottom beam. Install the three (3) 10-24 x 1-1/4" hex head screws through the
holes in the bottom beam to secure extrusion to beam.
3. Belt Cutter is now ready for use.

14" BELT CUTTER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO OPEN END BEAM - To allow a cut in the middle of a roll of belting:
NOTE: ALWAYS WEAR CUT-RESISTANT GLOVES WHEN WORKING WITH THE BELT CUTTER.
AVOID PLACING HANDS BENEATH THE BEAM, BLADE AND BEAM LATCH ASSEMBLY.
1. Lift handle to upright position.
2. To release the beam latch assembly, pull the release pin from the latch assembly.
3. Open end beam.
4. Ensure that the safety latch is positioned in the groove on the right blade guard.
TO CUT THE BELT:
NOTE: ALWAYS WEAR CUT-RESISTANT GLOVES WHEN WORKING WITH THE BELT CUTTER.
1. Insert belt under blade, ensuring that it is squared up with the 90° cutting table edge.
2. If the beam latch assembly is engaged, press handle down until belt is cut. If the top beam
is raised, lift top beam, rotate safety latch knob to disengage safety latch, lower top beam,
engage beam latch assembly, insert release pin, then press down on handle until belt is cut.
