COMMON CAUSES OF SHUTDOWN
1. coils dirty - clogged by leaves - nearby obstacles -
covered with snow
2. set point too low (in summer) or too high (in winter)
3. water in system is too hot (in summer, for example
with machine left off over the weekend) or too cold (in
winter)
4. water filter dirty
5. external permissions (remote ON-OFF etc. )
6. water cut-off valves closed
7. system not pressurized - air needs to be vented
8. system pump off
9. circulator pump not running (after seasonal
shutdown)
10. unit exchanger dirty
11. fans blocked by snow
