Using for the first time
Setting the cutting depth
– Undo the locking screw (17).
– Set the required cutting depth.
The set cutting depth can be read off using
the scale (16).
– Tighten the locking screw (17) up again.
Setting the mitre angle
– Undo the locking screw (4).
– Set the required mitre angle.
The set mitre angle can be read off using the
scale (3).
– Tighten the locking screw (4) up again.
Setting the parallel stopper
– Fit the parallel stopper (5) into the holder
on the unit as shown.
– Set the parallel stopper to the required
dimensions and secure with the locking
screw (6).
Connecting the dust extraction
mechanism
– Fit the suction hose of a suitable vacuum
unit onto the shaving rejection chute.
Operation
Check before starting the device!
Check to make sure the unit is in a safe oper-
ating condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible
defects.
– Check to make sure all unit components
are correctly mounted.
Wear goggles when working with the
device.
Wear ear defenders when working
with the device.
When working with tools that cause
considerable dust, wear a dust pro-
tection mask.
Do not wear protective gloves when
working with the device.
Wear tight fitting clothes when work-
ing with the device.
If you have long hair, cover or wear a
hair net.
Note: The actual appearance of your
product may differ from the illustra-
tions.
DANGER! Risk of injury! Pull out
the power plug before conducting any
work on the device.
Note: The cutting depth must be
adapted to suit the thickness of the
work piece. It should be visible by less
than a full tooth height below the work
piece.
WARNING! Risk of injury! When
extracting particular dangerous, car-
cinogenic or dry dusts use a special
extraction unit.
DANGER! Risk of injury! The
device may only be put into operation
if there are no defects. If a part is
defective, it must be replaced before
the machine is used again.
