Function Description
The Coast Air portable air conditioner is designed for household use to provide cooling, dehumidification (Dry mode), and fan-only operation. In Cool mode, it cools and dehumidifies a room, ideal for hot, muggy weather. The Dry mode is specifically for reducing room humidity during damp periods, such as spring and autumn. The Fan mode circulates air without cooling or dehumidifying. The unit features a self-diagnosis system to identify malfunctions and displays error messages on its screen.

Usage Features

Maintenance Features

- Water Drainage:
- Manual Draining: When the internal safety tank is full (indicated by "PF" or "FE" error on display), unplug the unit, remove the lower drain plug, and collect water in a pan. Replace the plug firmly after draining.
- Continuous Draining: Unplug the unit, remove the drain plug, and connect a 1/2" (12.7mm) drain hose (may not be supplied) to continuously drain water into a floor drain or bucket. Ensure the drain hose is not higher than the drain outlet.
- Middle Drainage (Dry Mode): Similar to continuous draining, but using a middle drain plug for Dry mode operation.
- End of Season Operations: Completely drain internal water by removing the cap and collecting water in a basin. Clean and thoroughly dry the filter before storing.
- Battery Replacement (Remote Control): Remove the cover, insert two AAA 1.5V batteries in the correct position. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Remove batteries for extended storage.
