INSTRUCTIONS FOR COAST FL75 HEADLAMP:
BATTERY INSTALLATION:
The FL75 uses three AAA alkaline batteries located in the rear of the
headlamp. To access the battery compartment, hinge the headlamp
downward to reveal the rear of the headlamp body. Once the rear of the
headlamp is revealed, pull the locking mechanism up to unlock the bat-
tery compartment. Insert the batteries in the direction indicated inside
the headlamp, close the battery compartment door until it ‘clicks’ shut,
and hinge the headlamp back towards the reflective strap. Never mix
old and new batteries. Remove batteries before storing headlamp for
extended periods of non-use.
Note: The FL75 in clam packaging comes with batteries pre-installed.
WHITE & RED LED LIGHT OPERATION:
To turn on the while light, depress the power switch on the top-right
side of the headlamp while worn to enter “high” white LED power mode.
Depressing the same button a second time soon after will switch the
headlamp to “Medium” white LED Power more. A third depression of the
button soon after will turn the headlamp into “Low” white LED mode. To
turn off the light, depress the power switch a fourth and final time, or
sometime after the previous depression.
To turn on the red light, depress the power button on the top-left side of
the headlamp while wearing to enter red LED light mode. To turn off the
light, depress the same button a second time.
Due to possessing separate buttons, LEDs may be powered individually
or at the same time.
FOCUS AND BEAM POSITION ADJUSTMENT:
This headlamp is equipped with COAST’s Pure Beam Focusing Optic
System with Twist focus, which allows the user to choose between a
broad flood beam and a focused Bulls-Eye Spot beam for long distance
illumination. To adjust the beam into flood light mode, rotate the Twist
Focus Ring bezel around the lens of the light counterclockwise when
wearing the headlamp. To adjust the beam into Bulls-Eye Spot mode,
rotate the Twist Focus Ring bezel around the lens of the light clockwise
when wearing the headlamp. The hinged adjustment allows you to tilt
the headlamp downward to illuminate close objects. To adjust the tilt
posit
ion of the headlamp, hold the body of the headlamp with one hand
and tilt the body away from the back plate (which retains the strap),
holding the back plate with a second hand (if necessary).
HEAD STR AP ADJUSTMENT:
To adjust the FL75 to fit your head, slide the buckles on the side head
strap and/or top strap. It may be necessary to reposition the headlamp
and/or battery pack on the side head strap once the head band is ad-
justed to the proper size.
HEAD HAT SAFETY HELMET CLIP USE:
The FL75 includes helmet clips for use with hard hat style safety
helmets. To use the helmet clips, loosen the side and top straps to fit
the helmet and attach the clips to the side strap of the headlamp, evenly
spaced with two on each side. Attach the headlamp to the safety helmet
and attach the clips to the rim of the helmet. Some adjustment of the
clip positions and head straps will be necessary for proper fit on safety
helmets. NOTE: Clips are designed for use ONLY with HARD HAT style
safety helmets. They are not acceptable for use on most sporting safety
helmets.
MAINTENANCE:
Wipe the external body with a moistened with water or isopropyl alcohol.
Allow alcohol to dry before use. Do not submerge.

ランプを長期間使用しない場合は、保管する前に電池を取り外して
ください。
注：FL75 は、電池が予め挿入された状態で出荷されています。
白色 LED と赤色 LED の操作：
白色 LED を ON にするには、ヘッドランプを着用した状態で、右上側面
にある電源スイッチを押します。最初は、白色 LED の「高」輝度モード
が ON になります。間を置かずにスイッチをもう一度押す（計2度目
）と、
白色 LED の「中」輝度モードに切り替わります。間を置かずにスイッチ
をもう一度押す（計3度目）と、白色 LED の「低」輝度モードに切り替わ
ります。ライトを OFF にするには、スイッチをもう一度押す（計4度目）か、
または最後に押してから少し間隔を空けて押します。
赤色 LED を ON にするには、ヘッドランプを着用した状態で、左上側面
にある電源スイッチを押します。ライトを OFF にするには、同じボタンを
もう一度押します。
各色のボタンは分かれているため、各 LED を個別に、または同時に点
灯させることができます。
焦点とビーム位置の調整：
このヘッドランプは、COAST 独自の「ツイスト式ピュア・ビーム光学シス
テム」を備えています。この機構により、広範囲を照射するビームと、範
囲を絞ることで長距離まで届く「ブルズアイ・スポット・ビーム」を切り替
えることができます。広範囲モードに切り替えるには、ヘッドランプを装
着した状態で、レンズの周りにあるツイスト・フォーカス・リングのベゼル
を反時計回りに回転させます。「ブルズアイ・スポット・ビーム」モードに
切り替えるには、ヘッドランプを装着した状態で、レンズの周りにあるツ
イスト・フォーカス・リングのベゼルを時計回りに回転させます。
本体角度調整機構により、近くにある物体を照らす際にヘッドランプ
を下側に傾けることができます。ヘッドランプのチルト位置を調整す
るには、片手でヘッドランプの本体を押さえながら、（ヘッドバンドを
挟む）ヘッドバンドから離すようにして本体を傾けます。その際に、必要
であれば他方の手でヘッドバンドを押さえてください。
ヘッドバンドの調整：
頭に合わせて FL75 を調整するには、サイドヘッドバンドやトップヘッド
バンド上でバックルをスライドさせます。ヘッドバンドを最適なサイズ
に調整した後は、サイドヘッドバンド上でヘッドランプや電池パックの
位置を再調整します。
ヘルメット取付用クリップを使用する：
FL75 には、ハードシェルの保護ヘルメットに取り付けるためのヘルメッ
ト取付用クリップが同梱されています。ヘルメットクリップを使用するに
は、サイドストラップとトップストラップを緩
めてヘルメットに巻き付けま
す。ヘッドランプのサイドストラップに片側2個のクリップを取り付け、間
隔が均等になるように調整します。ヘッドランプを保護ヘルメットに取
り付け、ヘルメットの縁にクリップを取り付けます。保護ヘルメットに正し
く装着するには、クリップの位置とヘッドバンドを多少調整する必
要があります。注意：クリップは、ハードシェルの保護ヘルメットで使用
することのみを想定しています。大部分のスポーツ用ヘルメットでは、
使用に適しません。
メンテナンス：
水またはイソプロピルアルコールで湿らせた布で、本体の外部を拭い
てください。アルコールが乾くまでは使用を控えてください。絶対に水
に浸けないでください。
