How to fix no credit after coin in Coastal Amusements BLACK TIE?
    • K
      Kelly WilliamsAug 20, 2025
If your Coastal Amusements Vending machine isn't registering credit after inserting a coin, verify that the Coins vs. Plays setting is configured correctly. If you are unable to adjust the Coins vs. Plays setting, there may be an issue with the main board, and it might need to be sent back for repair.

Why Coastal Amusements Vending machines don’t move forward or backward by joystick operation?
    • W
      wtaylorAug 25, 2025
If the joystick on your Coastal Amusements Vending machine isn't moving the claw forward or backward, consider the following checks: 1. See whether the forward/back motor fuse (FB) on the fuse board has blown. 2. Ensure that the J5 connecting pin of the PCB is securely connected. 3. Verify the positions of the stop-front SW (Gantry & Assembly I No. 22) and back-stop SW (Gantry & Assembly I No. 23), and confirm their wiring is intact. 4. Inspect the Front/Back motor for functionality and proper wire connections; also, check the shaft pinion's position. 5. Check if J9 connecting pin of P.C.B. is properly connected. 6. Make sure all gantry connecting pins are correctly connected to the machine.

    • V
      Victor LiAug 26, 2025
If your Coastal Amusements Vending machine isn't moving left or right when using the joystick, try these troubleshooting steps: * Check the left/right motor fuse (LR) on the fuse board to see if it's burned out. * Check if the left and/or right SW is out of function or if their wires are properly connected. * Ensure that the J5 connecting pin of the PCB is properly connected. * Verify the position of the stop-left SW (Gantry & Assembly I No. 21). * Check the Left/Right motor for proper function and wiring; also, verify the position of its shaft pinion. * Check if J9 connecting pin of P.C.B. is properly connected. * Make sure all connecting pins of the gantry are properly connected to the machine.

What to do if Coastal Amusements Vending machine doesn’t lower down, but the Descend button is in normal condition?
    • A
      Andrew RobinsonAug 27, 2025
If your Coastal Amusements Vending machine isn't lowering down, even though the Descend button seems to be working, make sure the Up/Down motor wires are properly connected. Check if the Up/Down motor is functioning correctly and that its shaft pinion is in the correct position. Also, verify that the J9 connecting pin of the PCB is properly connected. It's also possible that the main board has broken down.

Why Coastal Amusements Vending machine don’t return to its home position?
    • A
      Aaron SchroederAug 29, 2025
If your Coastal Amusements Vending machine isn't returning to its home position, try these steps. If after powering the machine off and on, the gantry still doesn't return to its home position, check that the stop-back SW (Gantry & Assembly I No. 23) or stop-left SW (Gantry & Assembly I No. 21) are in the correct positions and that their connecting wires are properly connected. Also, check that the air-plug of the gantry set connects well. If problems persist, the PCB may be out of service.
