4.2 Remote Alert Inhibit (not on ACP)
CAUTION:
When an Audio Alert Inhibit switch is activated, it is important to be aware that no
aural notification generated by the AMU will be given for any alert situation.
A remote Alert Inhibit switch may be installed in the aircraft. This switch is like an
on/off switch for the aural alerts generated by the AMU which in effect mutes all
tones/voice messages. Although the standard visual alerts will still be visible to the
pilot and copilot no other crew or passengers will receive audible notification of these
alerts.
4.3 Other Remote Switches (not on ACP)
Other remote switches and indicators may be installed. It is important to be
aware of the configuration set-up for your installation. Confirm the specific
criteria associated with this installation with your installing agency.
