SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS FOR COINTRA HOT WASH
• You will need to purchase a Propane Lpg cylinder. Get a Lpg Gas suitably qualified engineer to connect the
unit to comply with the Cointra one year Warranty.
• Regulator with 1 metre hose is supplied with unit. After pushing the hose home on both ends, secure the
hose firmly using the two jubilee clamps provided.
• Connect your cold water hose to the WATERBOY using the quick connect hose connector provided, or
have your Lpg gas safe engineer connect a permanent water supply.
• Attach the hosepipe provided to the hot-water connection on one end and the spray-head provided to the
other end.
• Set both adjustment knobs to central position (Indicator facing straight up) Turn on your gas (VERY
IMPORTANT: Test your gas connections at every use using soapy water on the connections.
• ENSURE THAT GAS CONNECTIONS ARE SOUND) Turn on your HOT water and hot water will
flow after a few seconds.
• Adjust knobs to regulate water flow and temperature as required. (Left – Flame Control, Right – Water
Flow) If there is a problem with the flame not coming on or going out check for: o Water pressure,
needs minimum 0.5 bar – reasonable water flow should be okay.
o Gas pressure - empty bottle? o Check Batteries - if ok "clicking" should be heard when hot tap opened if
water flow is sufficient.
Warranty (12 months) covers defective parts. Items are replaced or repaired on our premises. Carriage not
included. The Cointra unit to comply with the manufacturers Warranty need to be connected by a suitably
qualified Gas Safe engineer.
Frost is NOT covered under the warranty and the unit should be removed from cold temperatures that will
freeze and the drain screw release to drain the unit.
