Getting Started: Charging your Battery Generator

IMPORTANT: your Battery Generator should be placed in a dry, well ventilated area with at least 6 inches of space on all sides for proper ventilation.

BEFORE YOU START: See “Safety Information” section for important precautions. The user should conform to all safety precautions in the guide. Keep this guide in a safe place for future reference.

IMPORTANT - CHARGE BEFORE USE: Fully charge your Battery Generator before using it and/or storing it. Keep the unit plugged in when not in use

so it is ready when you need it. The charger is designed to maintain the battery in a healthy state.

Your Battery Generator can be charged from grid power (AC) or solar energy (solar panels).

• When it is being charged and discharged (used to power your items) at the same time:

• If the input power (charging your Battery Generator) is greater than the output power (used to power your items), the intelligent LCD screen will show the “Hours to Full”.

• If the input power (charging your Battery Generator) is less than the output power (used to power your items), the intelligent LCD screen will show the “Hours to Empty”.

• The LCD screen stays on during charging but it can be turned off by pressing the DISPLAY button below the screen.

If your Battery Generator is fully discharged (0% available power), the intelligent LCD screen will be completely dark. This screen will illuminate as soon as your Battery Generator is connected to power, letting you

know that the unit is charging, and will continually display the growing power status as your Battery Generator charges.

Usage Features:

Intelligent LCD Screen:

The device features a comprehensive LCD screen that provides real-time information on its status.

Charging Input Indicators: Displays "Hours to Full," indicates whether AC or solar charge is detected, and shows input wattage.
Fuel Gauge Indicators: Shows the percentage of available battery power and a battery graph fuel gauge.
Power Output (Usage) Indicators: Displays total output wattage and "Hours to Empty" at the current output.
Warning Indicators: Alerts users to "HI TEMP/LO TEMP," "OUTPUT OVERLOAD," and "LOW BATTERY" conditions. The LCD screen can be turned off by pressing the DISPLAY button to conserve power.

Charging:

The Battery Generator can be charged via an AC outlet or a solar panel (sold separately).

AC Charging: Estimated charge time is 7 hours to full using the included AC charging cord. The internal 80W charger delivers a net charge of up to 70W to the battery. The unit can be kept plugged into an AC outlet for maintenance charging, ensuring it's always ready.
Solar Charging: Estimated charge time is 4 hours to full with a 200W solar panel in ideal conditions. The built-in MPPT solar control optimizes voltage and current for efficient charging. Users can connect solar panels (up to 200W max) to the Solar Input port. The unit can remain connected to a solar panel for continuous charging.

Powering Devices:

Multiple Output Types: The unit offers USB, AC, and 12V DC outputs, each with a separate power button and indicator light.
Simultaneous Use: Users can power and charge multiple items concurrently, provided the total power draw does not exceed the rated output power.
Automatic Shut-off: To conserve battery power, outputs automatically turn off if power output is less than 5W-AC or 100mA-USB/12V for more than five hours.

"Power Save Off" Mode:

This feature allows users to override the automatic shut-off for low-draw appliances like CPAP machines.

Activation: Press and hold the corresponding On/Off button (AC/USB/12V) for 3 seconds.
Indication: While in over-ride mode, the output LED will flash.
Reset: Turning the output "Off" will reset the port to its default power save mode.

Maintenance Features:

General Cleaning:

Surface Cleaning: Periodically clean the surface with a soft sponge or cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning detergent to remove stubborn dirt.
Ventilation: Keep the unit in a well-ventilated area, away from direct exposure to outside elements, to prevent clogging of AC and USB outlets and charging ports from dust, dirt, and moisture.

Storage and Handling:

Charge Before Use: Fully charge the Battery Generator before initial use and/or storage.
Continuous Charging: Keep the unit plugged in when not in use to maintain the battery in a healthy state.
Ventilation: Ensure the unit is placed in a dry, well-ventilated area with at least 6 inches of space on all sides for proper ventilation. Charging and discharging generate heat, requiring proper airflow.
Avoid Moisture: Do not operate or store in moist conditions to avoid electric shock. If the unit gets wet, allow it to dry completely before use.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the Battery Generator to fire or excessive temperatures (above 130°C / 266°F) as this may cause an explosion.

User-Serviceability:

No User-Serviceable Parts: The unit contains no user-serviceable parts. Users should not attempt to open or repair the Battery Generator, as this is dangerous and will void the warranty.
Professional Service: If service or repair is required, the unit should be taken to a qualified service person.
Avoid Inserting Objects: Do not insert foreign objects into any of the ports or openings.
