What to do if my Coleman On Demand 2300 Water Heater has low water flow?
    • C
      Christian TaylorAug 7, 2025
If your Coleman Water Heater has low or no water flow (less than 1 gallon per minute), it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the battery lead is disconnected and reinstall it. Ensure the pump is positioned correctly with “THIS SIDE UP” facing upward. Verify that the water container is filled. Also, inspect the pump screen for clogs and clean it if necessary. Straighten any bent or kinked hoses. Make sure the black wire is plugged into the back of the heater. Finally, drain the hose completely to remove any air bubbles.

Why won't the burner light on my Coleman On Demand 2300 Water Heater?
    • A
      Abigail MorrisonAug 13, 2025
If the burner on your Coleman Water Heater won't light, the propane cylinder might be empty, so replace it. Alternatively, the propane cylinder could be frosted, in which case you should also replace it and allow the frosted cylinder to thaw before reuse. If neither of these solutions works, the electronic circuit may be defective, and you should send it to a Coleman Service Center.
