Mold Installation for: Models
22HF, 16HF, 1600,
Pit Models 10, 12, 22, 16.
WARNING
Never work on, clean or service this unit, control panel or any machine or open
or remove any protective cover, guard, grate, door, or maintenance panel until
the power or energy sources has been turned off, locked out / tagged out, and all
moving parts have come to a complete stop and or blocked to prevent
movement. Machinery is dangerous avoid personal injury and or death by
following manufacture, Local, and OHSA safety procedures. Contact Columbia

Die Support Flatness Check

Inspect die supports for flatness with a straight edge to ensure proper mold mounting.

Mold Installation Steps

Install mold box, align with bolts, and raise to die supports. Install washers and nuts.

Bolt Torquing Specifications

Tighten nuts to specified torque values: Model 22 (90 ft-lbs) and Model 16/1600 (187 ft-lbs).

Final Tightening Warning

Warning: Ensure mold is completely tightened before operating the vibrator to prevent damage.
