Fuse Specifications: The air conditioner's circuit board (PCB) includes a fuse for overcurrent protection. Fuse specifications are printed on the PCB (e.g., T3.15AL/250VAC, T5AL/250VAC, T3.15A/250VAC, T5A/250VAC, T20A/250VAC, T30A/250VAC).

Electrical Connections:

  • All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Power voltage should be within 90-110% of rated voltage.
  • If connecting to fixed wiring, a surge protector and main power switch are required. An all-pole disconnection device with at least 3mm clearances in all poles and a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA must be incorporated.
  • Minimum cross-sectional area of power and signal cables (for reference, not applicable for North America) is provided based on rated current (e.g., >3 and ≤6A requires 0.75mm², >32 and ≤40A requires 6mm²).
  • For North America, cable type and size should follow local electrical codes and Minimum Circuit Ampacity on the nameplate.

Refrigerant Piping:

  • Minimum pipe run of 3 meters is required to minimize vibration and excessive noise.
  • Maximum length and drop height of refrigerant piping vary by model capacity:
    • <15,000 BTU/h: Max. Length 25m (82ft), Max. Drop Height 10m (33ft).
    • ≥15,000 and <24,000 BTU/h: Max. Length 30m (98.5ft), Max. Drop Height 20m (66ft).
    • ≥24,000 and <36,000 BTU/h: Max. Length 50m (164ft), Max. Drop Height 25m (82ft).
  • For R290 refrigerant models, the maximum length of refrigerant pipe should not exceed 10 meters (32.8ft).
  • Additional refrigerant charging is calculated based on pipe length and refrigerant type (R32, R290, R410A, R22).
  • Minimum bend radius for connective refrigerant piping is 10cm.

Impedance Information (for specific models):

  • MSAFB-12HRN1-QC6: Connects to a supply with system impedance no more than 0.373Ω.
