- Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors and Iiquids in vicinity of this or
any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the re department.
- Installation and service must be performed by a qualied installer, service agency or the
gas supplier.
This is an unvented gas-red heater. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which it is
installed. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided.
Refer to Air For Combustion and Ventilation section on page 8 of this manual.
This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket, permanently located, manufactured (mobile)
home, where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the rating plate.
This appliance is not convertible for use with other gases.

      Your Comfort Glow Heater might shut off for several reasons: * The gas supply might be off, or the equipment shutoff valve is closed. If this is the case, turn on the gas supply or open the equipment shutoff valve. * The control knob may not be fully pressed in while pressing the Piezo Ignitor. Make sure to fully press it in. * There might be air in the gas lines. Continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. * The ODS/pilot may be clogged. Clean or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. * The control knob may not be in the PILOT position. Turn the control knob to the PILOT position. * The gas supply may be depleted (propane). Contact your local propane/LP gas company to resolve this.

      Your Comfort Glow Heater may produce unwanted odors because: * It is burning vapors from paint, hair spray, glues, etc. Ventilate the room and stop using odor-causing products while the heater is running. * There may be a gas leak. Locate and correct all leaks. * There may be a low fuel supply. Refill the supply tank (Propane /LP models).

      If the ODS/pilot lights but the flame goes out when you release the control knob on your Comfort Glow Heater, check the following: * Ensure the control knob is fully pressed in. * After the ODS/pilot lights, keep the control knob pressed in for 30-60 seconds. * Make sure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. * Check if the thermocouple connection is loose; hand tighten until snug, then tighten ¼ turn more. * The thermocouple may be damaged and need replacement. * The control valve may be damaged. Contact customer service. * The inlet gas pressure may be too high. Contact your gas supplier to check and adjust the inlet pressure.
