The ComfortClick Jigsaw KNX is a device designed for smart home and building automation, serving as a central controller for various systems. It integrates with KNX, USB, and Ethernet networks, making it a versatile hub for managing different smart devices.
The Jigsaw KNX acts as a bOS Server, enabling users to create and manage their building automation configurations. It allows for both local and remote connection via the bOS Configurator software. When connecting locally, the PC running the bOS Configurator must be on the same network as the Jigsaw. For remote access over the internet, port forwarding (specifically port 443 TCP) needs to be enabled on the router, directing traffic to the Jigsaw's local IP address.
The device utilizes an "Access ID" for identification and access. By default, this is the serial number found on the Jigsaw's sticker. This unique Access ID allows for adding profiles and accessing the bOS Server without needing to know its IP address. Users can also customize the Access ID and other access settings through the bOS Configurator.
The Jigsaw KNX is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail and requires a power supply (110-240 V AC), KNX connection, and network connection. It supports the bOS PRO License and includes 2 user licenses by default.
