Append
Append
Purpose:

Sets
a
search
path
for
data
files.
Syntax:
[^J
append
[drive:]\patb][-\drive:]\patb]...]
append

The
path
parameter
specifies
the
directory
that
ms-dos
searches
for
a
data
file.
You
can,
however,
specify
more
than
one
path
to
search
by
separating
each with
a
semicolon
(;).

don't
use
options
with
the
append
command,
ms-dos
displays
the
current
data
path.
And
if
you
use
the
following
command,
MS-DOS
sets
the
NUL
data
M
path.
append;

This
means
that
ms-dos
searches
only
the
working
directory
for
data
files.

files,

of
their
file
