The Community Controls - Monarch 295SEPC1K is a key chain style mini transmitter designed for use with programmable telephone entry, security, and access control systems that operate with a 295 MHz frequency receiver. This device is ClikCard® compatible, and its transmitted code includes a 16-bit security code, allowing for up to 65,536 combinations, and a 6-bit facility code, providing 64 different combinations. The product fully complies with Part 15 of FCC Regulations and European Directives 99/5/CE, 89/336/CEE, and 73/23/CEE.
Each transmitter is manufactured with a unique, factory-set serial number. Before use, the transmitter must be programmed into your system memory. The necessary instructions for programming will be provided by your installer or reseller. To operate the device, firmly depress the dark grey push-button until the small red LED illuminates, then release the button. If the device you are attempting to activate does not respond, repeat the process or consult the troubleshooting section.
The CR 2016 lithium batteries have a shelf life of approximately 6 months. To access the batteries, open the case by inserting a screwdriver into the slot between the cover and the bottom, then remove the bottom. Slide out the old batteries and replace them with new CR2016 batteries, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing upward. Proper disposal of used batteries should follow local laws and regulations. After replacing batteries, test the installation by verifying that the red LED illuminates when the button is pushed.
The warranty period for Community Controls 295 transmitters is 60 months from the manufacturing date. During this period, if the product malfunctions due to a defective component, it will be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of Community Controls. The warranty does not cover damage to the transmitter case caused by conditions outside Community Controls' control or battery life. Any changes or modifications to Community Controls equipment not expressly approved by Community Controls could void the manufacturer's warranty.
