Backup battery
compartment
Contains the CR2032 lithium coin battery
which acts as a backup battery when the
main batteries are drained or removed.

Main battery
compartment
Holds two AA alkaline batteries or a
rechargeable NiMH battery pack for
supplying primary battery power to the
device.

PC Card slot Accepts a Type I or Type II PC (PCMCIA)
Card. For more on this feature, see
Chapter 6, “Using PC Cards.”

PC Card eject
lever
Ejects a PC Card from the PC Card slot.

Reset button Restarts the operating system.
CAUTION:
Pressing the reset button will
permanently delete all of your unsaved
information.

Expansion
compartment
Contains the RAM module. Accepts
optional RAM upgrades.
