5. Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable is attached, and disconnect the TouchPad cable from
the system board.
6. Remove the following screws:
a. Three Phillips PM2.5x9.0 screws 1
b. Two Phillips PM2.5x5.0 screws 2
c. One Phillips PM2.0x6.0 screw 3
7. Lift the rear edge of the top cover 1 until the top cover disengages from the base enclosure.
8. Remove the top cover 2.
Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
