Do you have a question about the Compex FIXX MINI and is the answer not in the manual?
The Compex® Fixx™ Mini is a portable deep tissue massager designed for individuals experiencing sore and overworked muscles. This compact device offers a convenient "on the go" solution for muscle recovery and can also be used for warm-up prior to physical activity.
The Fixx™ Mini operates by delivering percussions to the muscles, which helps to reduce soreness and loosen tight areas. It features three adjustable speed settings, allowing users to customize the intensity of their massage. The combination of speed and applied hand pressure enables a personalized massage experience tailored to individual recovery needs and requirements. The device is designed to be administered by adults aged 21 and over.
Before using the Fixx™ Mini, it must be charged for 1 to 1.5 hours using the provided charging plug connected to a wall outlet. A red light indicates that the device is charging, and a green light will appear once the battery is fully charged.
To prepare the device for use, ensure it is turned off. The massage ball attachment should be placed onto the metal shaft with slight pressure until it stops inside the ball. The ball is then secured by turning it clockwise. It is crucial that the ball is properly connected before operating the device.
To turn on the Fixx™ Mini, press and hold the power button until the indicator lights illuminate. Subsequent presses of the power button will cycle through the three available speed levels: speed 1, speed 2, and speed 3. The device features a single indicator light on its body that glows green when powered on. This light will turn red when the battery capacity drops below 25%, signaling that a recharge is needed. To turn off the device, press and hold the power button down.
When finished with a massage, the ball attachment can be removed. First, turn off the Fixx™ Mini. Then, turn the ball counterclockwise and pull it away from the shaft.
For troubleshooting, if the Fixx™ Mini does not power on, the battery should be charged until it is full. If the ball attachment is difficult to remove from the shaft, turning it counterclockwise should release it. If the battery fails to charge, users should check the connections of the power cord to both the Fixx™ Mini and the wall outlet. In cases where the Fixx™ Mini disconnects from the wand handle, ensure that both tabs are properly turned and locked into the slots of the wand handle end.
Users should immediately stop using the device if they experience any pain or discomfort. Contact with the head and other bony areas should be avoided. The device should be used on body parts for no more than 1 minute per specific location, with continuous movement over muscles and away from bony areas. Fingers, hands, and hair should be kept clear of the ball/shaft section. The Fixx™ Mini should not be dropped.
The appliance is not intended for use by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety. It must only be used with the specified power supply unit (model NO. ICP15A-050-2000D).
The Fixx™ Mini should not be used without physician approval if any of the following conditions apply: recent surgeries of any kind, skin conditions or wounds affected by vibrating minis, herniated disks, pregnancy, diabetes/neuropathy or retinal damage, wear of pacemakers, injuries affected by vibrating massagers, epilepsy or migraines, disc herniation, spondylolisthesis, vertebral detachment or spine joint rigidity, recent replacement of joints or IUD, metal pins or metal plates, or any other health-related diseases.
Warnings also include: do not use if injured, do not immerse the device in water, sand, or loose debris that could enter the motor housing vent, and do not attempt to remove screws or disassemble the device.
Users may experience skin irritation and mild bruising if the Fixx™ Mini is used in one spot for more than 60 seconds or over bony areas. Individuals recovering from surgery, skin conditions, wounds, nerve conditions, broken bones, and/or contusions may be more susceptible to adverse reactions. Consulting a doctor before using the Fixx™ Mini is recommended to avoid such reactions.
For cleaning, the device should be wiped down with a damp towel and then dried. The massage ball and/or tips and grip should be cleaned with anti-bacterial wipes between uses to prevent bacterial contamination.
For battery maintenance, if the device is not used for an extended period, it is recommended to fully charge the Fixx™ Mini every three months. The device should be stored in a cool and dry environment. The service life of the battery is three years.
