MAINTENANCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-
free. For proper performance, the appliance
must be kept clean. Blocked or clogged air
intake vents will cause the appliance to over-
heat. When cleaning is needed, unplug the
cord and clean dust and lint from air intake
openings with a small brush attach-
ment. The outer surface of the appliance
should be wiped clean with a cloth only. If
abnormal conditions occur, unplug the
appliance, allow it to cool and return it for
repair to an authorized service representative
only. No repairs should be attempted by the
consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled or twisted. Never wrap the cord around
the appliance. Damage will occur at the high-
flex point of entry into the appliance, causing
it to rupture and short circuit.
Inspect the cord frequently for damage. STOP
USE IMMEDIATELY if damage is visible or if
unit stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE - Important
When not in use, your appliance should be
disconnected and stored in a safe, dry
location, out of reach of children. Do not
wrap line cord around the appliance. Allow
the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at
the point of entry into the appliance.
LIMITED THREE YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your
appliance free of charge for 36 months
from the date of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return
the defective product to the service centre
listed below together with your sales slip
and $7.50 for postage and handling. In the
absence of a receipt, the warranty period
shall be 36 months from the date of
manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS,
OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE 36 MONTH DURATION
OF THIS WARRANTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE
FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSE-
QUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS
OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR

L’UTILISATEUR
Cet appareil ne demande pratiquement aucun
entretien. Pour un bon rendement, gardez-
le propre. Des évents bloqués ou obstrués
pourront faire surchauffer l’appareil. Si vous
devez le nettoyer, débranchez le cordon et
nettoyez la poussière ou la charpie des ou-
vertures à l’aide d’une petite brosse. La sur-
face extérieure de l’appareil ne devrait être
essuyée qu’avec un linge humide. Si une
fonctionnement anormal survient, débranche
l’appareil, laissez-le refroidir et présentez-le
à un centre de réparation agréé. Aucune ré-
paration ne devrait être faite par le consom-
mateur.
MISE EN GARDE
Ne tirez ni ne tordez JAMAIS le cordon.
N’enroulez jamais le cordon autour de
l’appareil. Il pourrait s’endommager au point
de flexion à l’entrée dans l’appareil; un bris
pourrait causer un court-circuit. Vérifiez l’état
du cordon régulièrement. S’il est endom-
magé ou si l’appareil cesse de fonctionner
ou fonctionne par intermittence, CESSEZ
D’UTILISER L’APPAREIL IMMÉDIATEMENT.
RANGEMENT
Quand vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil, débran-
chez-le et rangez-le en lieu sec et sûr, hors de
la portée des enfants.
N’enroulez pas le cordon autour de l’appareil.
Laissez le cordon pendre ou reposer à plat et
droit au point d’entrée dans l’appareil.
GARANTIE LIMITÉE DE TROIS ANS
Conair, à son choix, réparera ou remplacera
sans frais un appareil qui, dans les 36 mois
suivant la date d’achat, affiche un vice de mat-
ière ou de fabrication.
Pour obtenir un service au titre de la garantie,
renvoyez l’appareil défectueux au centre de
service Conair, accompagné du bon de caisse
et de 7,50 $ pour les frais de poste et admi-
nistratifs. En l’absense d’un bon de caisse, la
période de garantie sera de 36 mois à compter
de la date de fabrication.
