Calibrate mechanism by shredding 3 sheets for first few cycles to redistribute lubrication.
Verify plug, switch position (AUTO/REVERSE), and proper placement on basket.
Overload protector stops shredder after 2 mins ON at max capacity; 30 mins OFF duty cycle.
Use REVERSE to clear jams, then return to AUTO or OFF. Repeat as needed.
