Introduction
You have chosen our CONCORD TRIMAX seat for the
protection of your child.
This product is manufactured using rigorous quality
control procedures, but its exceptional safety features will
only work if you use it correctly. It is therefore important
to follow carefully the instructions for fitting and using
the seat. This seat can be used on any car seat fitted
with a three-point safety belt, but accident statistics
suggest that the best place is on the seat behind the
front passenger’s seat.
The seat basically comprises three parts: the backrest
with three-position adjustable shoulder straps, the booster
seat, and the sit/recline adjustment section.
Securing the seat in the car using a three-point
safety belt
Position the TRIMAX on the seat of the car. Pull the car
safety belt right out and thread its clip through the slot
in the backrest.
Secure the three-point safety belt just as you would on
a grown-up, while ensuring that the belts pass through
the guides.
Slide the diagonal belt into the belt grip situated at the
top of the slot in the backrest. Press the seat firmly into
the car’s seat cushioning while pulling tight the diagonal
belt; this should also pull the waist belt tight. The belt
grip ensures that the seat stays firmly in position. Look
to make sure that the safety belt is not twisted and is
tight in every place.
You can check that the safety belt is properly in place by
lifting the backrest cover. Tighten the belt if necessary.
