What to do if my ConMed Hall MicroPower High Speed Drill handpiece does not operate?
    • S
      Sue JacobsJul 31, 2025
If your ConMed Drill handpiece isn't working, there are several potential causes and solutions: * Ensure the handpiece cord is securely connected to both the handpiece and the controller. * If using a footswitch, check that the footswitch cord is securely connected to the controller receptacle. * Make sure the handpiece safety is in the correct operating position and the twist collet is fully locked. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the handpiece cord or footswitch might be faulty and need replacement, or the handpiece itself may require service.

      Rebecca AguirreAug 20, 2025
If the controller of your ConMed Drill displays “Magnetic Field” N S, it might be because the handpiece is too close to a magnetic drape or the removable activation lever is not completely connected. Try removing the handpiece from the magnetic drape area and wait five seconds before restarting. Also, ensure the activation lever is fully connected.
