What to do if my Contacta Amplifier has no power?

  If there is no power detected through your Contacta Amplifier, and you've confirmed there is power at the socket, there are several potential causes. First, check that the power jack is firmly plugged in. If it is, the plug fuse may have blown, in which case you should replace it. If the fuse blows again, contact your supplier. Alternatively, the power supply unit or the amplifier itself may be faulty, requiring replacement.

  Your Contacta Amplifier might be experiencing feedback due to a couple of reasons. The internal volume gain could be set too high; in this case, access the amplifier's engineer mode to adjust the internal settings. Alternatively, the microphone might be positioned too close to the speaker. Try moving the microphone to a location further from the speaker.
