Usage Features

Safety Precautions:

  • Always read instructions before use.
  • Ensure the appliance voltage matches the local supply and is properly grounded.
  • Avoid overcooking food to prevent fire risks.
  • Remove metal twist-ties from bags before microwaving.
  • Do not heat oil or fat for deep frying.
  • If smoke or ignition occurs, keep the door closed, turn off, and disconnect power.
  • Monitor food heated in plastic or paper containers.
  • Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers (e.g., baby bottles with screw caps) as they may explode.
  • Use wide-mouthed containers for liquids and allow a few moments before removing to prevent eruptive boiling.
  • Pierce potatoes, sausages, and chestnuts before cooking.
  • Do not heat eggs in their shell or whole hard-boiled eggs in the microwave.
  • Stir and check the temperature of baby food before consumption.
  • Do not operate if the door or door seals are damaged.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
  • Use gloves when removing hot containers to avoid steam burns.
  • Lift dish covers and open popcorn bags away from the face.
  • Allow the turntable to cool before cleaning.
  • Ensure utensils do not touch interior walls during cooking.
  • Only use microwave-safe utensils.
  • Do not store food or other items inside the oven.
  • Never operate the oven empty.
  • Accessible parts may become hot during use; keep young children away.
  • The microwave oven is intended for freestanding use and should not be placed in a cabinet.
  • Maintain a minimum free space of 20 cm above the top surface, 10 cm at the back, and 5 cm at the sides for ventilation.
  • Position the oven away from TVs, radios, or antennas (more than 5m) to avoid interference.
  • Ensure the plug is accessible and properly grounded.
  • The oven lamp is for illuminating the appliance, not for room lighting.

Cooking Tips:

  • Food Arrangement: Place thicker food parts towards the outside of the dish and thinner parts towards the center. Spread food evenly and avoid overlapping.
  • Cooking Time: Start with a short time and extend as needed. Overcooking can lead to smoke or burns.
  • Even Cooking: Turn foods like chicken, hamburgers, or steak once during cooking. Stir food from outside to center once or twice if applicable.
  • Standing Time: After cooking, leave food in the oven for an adequate period to complete the cooking cycle and cool gradually.
  • Doneness: Check food doneness by observing steam, easily movable poultry joints, absence of blood in pork/poultry, and opaque, flaky fish.
  • Browning Dish: When using a browning dish or self-heating container, always place a heat-resistant insulator (e.g., porcelain plate) underneath to protect the turntable and rotating ring.
  • Microwave Safe Plastic Wrap: Do not allow plastic wrap to contact high-fat foods as it may melt.
  • Microwave Safe Plastic Cookware: Some plastic cookware may not be suitable for high-fat or high-sugar foods. Do not exceed preheating times specified in dish instructions.

Maintenance Features

General Cleaning:

  • Clean the oven regularly and remove any food deposits.
  • Exterior: Wipe with a damp soft cloth.
  • Door: Clean the door and window with a damp soft cloth. Wipe door seals and adjacent parts to remove spills or spatters.
  • Control Panel: Wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth.
  • Interior Walls: Wipe with a damp soft cloth.
  • Waveguide Cover: Wipe with a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth, to remove food splashes and grease. Accumulated grease can overheat, smoke, or catch fire.
  • Turntable/Rotation Ring/Rotation Axis: Wash with mild soap water, rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly.
  • Odor Removal: If strange odors appear after prolonged use, try these methods:
    1. Place several lemon slices in a cup and heat at high microwave power for 2-3 minutes.
    2. Place a cup of red tea in the oven and heat at high microwave power.
    3. Put orange peel in the oven and heat at high microwave power for 1 minute.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the product in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Installation:

  • Remove all packaging and protective film before use.
  • Inspect for damage; if found, contact the dealer or service center.
  • Place the oven in a dry, non-corrosive environment, away from heat and humidity.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation: minimum 10 cm from the back wall, 5 cm from side walls, 20 cm above, and 85 cm from the ground.
  • Position away from TVs, radios, or antennas (more than 5m).
  • Ensure the power plug is accessible and properly grounded.
  • The oven is designed for freestanding use.
  • Initial use may produce an odor or slight smoke due to manufacturing residues; this is normal and will dissipate. Ensure good ventilation by opening the door or a window. It is recommended to place a cup of water in the cavity, set to high power, and operate several times.

Servicing Safeguards (for trained personnel only):

  • Microwave Radiation Warning: It is hazardous for untrained persons to perform service or repair operations involving the removal of covers that protect against microwave energy exposure.
  • Capacitor Discharge: The high voltage capacitor remains charged after disconnection. Short the negative terminal of the H.V. capacitor to the oven chassis with a screwdriver to discharge it before touching.
  • High Voltage Parts: During servicing, parts such as the magnetron, high voltage transformer, high voltage capacitor, high voltage diode, and high voltage fuse may be removed, exposing potentials above 250V to earth.
  • Microwave Exposure Risks: Improper fitting of the magnetron, door interlock, door hinge, switch support, or damage to the door, door seal, or enclosure can cause undue microwave exposure during servicing.

Troubleshooting (Before calling for service):

  1. Place 150ml of water in a glass measure in the oven and close the door. The oven lamp should turn off. Operate for 1 minute.
  2. Does the oven lamp light up?
  3. Does the cooling fan work (check rear ventilation openings)?
  4. Does the turntable rotate (clockwise or counter-clockwise is normal)?
  5. Is the water inside the oven hot? If any answer is "NO," check the wall socket and fuse. If both are working, contact an approved service center.

Correct Disposal of the Product: This product should not be disposed of with other household waste in the EU. To prevent harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly. Use return and collection systems or contact the retailer for environmentally safe recycling.
