Alternatively, the main fire nozzle might be occluded, requiring you to dredge the nozzle. Other potential issues include problematic gas control valves (change gas control valves), excessive distance between the pilot light and the main fire (adjust their distance), or a flame that is too low (adjust the height of the pilot light).
