IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid. Ensure that
appliance does not get wet (water splashes etc.) and do not use it with wet hands.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. The appliance has a moving blade that
may cause serious personal injury.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. You might accidentally
start the appliance if the unit is still plugged into the outlet and cause serious personal injury.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts as they might cause injury if touched.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Contact Costumer Service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
8. The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock,
or injury. Only items designed for use with this appliance should be used at all times.
9. Do not use outdoors. This unit is designed to be used only indoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. The cord can get tangled or cause the appliance to fall.
11. Do not let cord contact any hot surface, including the stove. The protective insulation will burn making the appliance
inoperable or unsafe to operate.
12. Always make sure Juice Extractor cover is clamped securely in place before the Extractor is turned ON. Do not unfasten
locking clamp while Juice Extractor is in operation. This can cause the pulp on the juicing basket to fly out of the juicer.
