Why does my Cooper & Hunter Sophia CH-S30FTXW-SV Air Conditioner change from COOL/HEAT mode to FAN mode?

Your Cooper & Hunter Air Conditioner might switch to FAN mode for two reasons. First, it could be preventing frost formation. In this case, no action is needed; it will return to the previous mode when the temperature rises. Second, the set temperature may have been reached, causing the compressor to turn off. The unit will resume normal operation when the temperature fluctuates again.
