TESTING
Determine the limits of the transmitter’s range and inform the user of
these limits. Check that the unit will function in all areas where the
user EXPECTS it to function and point out any discrepancies.
To ensure good reception use the Scantronic 790 field strength meter
to obtain accurate field strength readings and audible and visual indi-
cation of the transmitter’s performance and any interference present.
CAUTION
Transmitter range depends on the receiver aerial and the nature of
the receiving path.
To reduce the problems, there are a number of simple guidelines that
can be followed:
NEVER use the transmitter on a metal surface, including foil-backed
wallpaper.
Testen
Bepaal het bereik van de zender en bespreek dit met de gebruiker.
Controleer de werking van de zender op plaatsen waar de gebruiker
verwacht dat de zender zal functioneren en bespreek eventuele
(on)mogelijkheden.
Voor een goede verbinding gebruikt u de veldsterktemeter 790 van
Scantronic. U krijgt hiermee een nauwkeurige hoorbare en visuele
indicatie van het functioneren van de zender en eventueel aanwezige
storende elementen..
Let op
Het bereik van de zender is afhankelijk van de antenne van de
ontvanger en van de tussenliggende ruimte.
Om problemen te voorkomen kunt u de volgende vuistregels
hanteren:
Gebruik de zender NOOIT bij een metalen oppervlak of folie (bijv.
isolatiemateriaal);
Gebruik de zender niet op minder dan 1 meter van computers en
andere elektrische apparatuur;
Gebruik de zender niet op minder dan 1 meter van metalen leidingen
(water, cv, gas).

TEST
Il est nécessaire de déterminer les limites de portée de l’émetteur
et d’informer l’utilisateur de celles-ci. Vérifier que l’émetteur peut
fonctionner partout où l’utilisateur pourrait être amené à s’en servir
et repérer toute anomalie.
Pour garantir une réception optimale du signal, utiliser le mesureur
de champ Scantronic 790. Cet appareil fournit des données de
champ précises, ainsi qu’une indication audible et visuelle des
performances de l’émetteur. Il signale également toute interférence
détectée.
AVERTISSEMENT
La portée de l’émetteur dépend de l’antenne du récepteur et de la
nature de la trajectoire de réception.
Pour limiter le risque de survenance de problèmes, il est
recommandé de respecter quelques indications très simples :
Ne JAMAIS utiliser l’émetteur sur une surface métallique, y compris
sur un paier-peint faisant office de pare-vapeur.
EVITER de se servir de l’émetteur à une distance inférieure à
1 mètre de tout ordinateur ou équipement électrique de grande
puissance.
EVITER également de se servir de l’émetteur à moins de
1 mètre de toute conduite d’eau.
