BEFORE USE
• Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the
electrical rating specified on the underside of the
power unit.
• Remove all of the packaging.
• Clean before first use and dry thoroughly.
• Place the freezer bowl in the upright position into a
freezer at least 8 hours before making the ice
cream. Place freezer bowl in a plastic bag before
freezing.
• Prepare the ice cream or sorbet mix. Allow the mix
to cool in the refrigerator.
OPERATION
1. Remove the freezer bowl (4) from the freezer and
attach the assembled lid/power unit/paddle and
turn anti-clockwise to lock into position. Note: Do
not remove the freezer bowl from the freezer until
ready to make ice cream. Take care when handling
the frozen bowl, do not touch any of the metal
parts with bare fingers.
2. Switch the Ice Cream Machine on using the on/off
switch (5).
3. Pour the ice cream or sorbet mix down the chute
(6) and into the freezer bowl. When pouring
mixture into the bowl, always stop at least 4cm
(1

in) from the top, as the mixture will increase in
volume during freezing. The machine must be
switched on before adding the ice cream or sorbet
recipe to prevent the mix from freezing to the inside
of the bowl.
4. Allow the mixture to churn until frozen or until the
desired consistency is reached. This can take up to
15-30 minutes but most recipes will be ready in
less time.
5. Switch off; remove the power unit/lid. Cover the
churned mixture and place in the freezer until firm.
