CHANGING THE NEEDLE
1 Start with the Clamp in the down
position. Grasp the Needle Grip, located
at the top of the Needle, and unscrew
it to release it from the System. The
Needle drops down quickly.
2 Tilt the Needle slightly and pull it up
and away from the System to remove.
3 If installing a new Needle, carefully
remove the Needle guard. Place guard
onto the old Needle and dispose of
according to local regulations.
3b If the existing Needle is clogged,
use the Needle Clearing Tool to
poke the cork/sediment through
the eye of the Needle.
4 Hold the new Needle by the grip and
slide the pointed end back into the
Needle Guide, slightly tilting the Needle.
5 Screw the Needle Grip back into the
System until fully tightened.

CHANGING BETWEEN WINES:
Quickly PRESS AND RELEASE the Trigger to purge the Needle of residual wine
before pouring another wine.
GETTING THE MOST OUT OF EACH CORAVIN CAPSULE:
DO NOT unscrew the Cup until the Capsule is empty. All remaining gas will be
quickly released and wasted.
Before use, always check that the Needle is tightly screwed in place.
To reduce the overall use of gas, press the Trigger quickly, repeating only when
the pour slows. Holding the Trigger down for long periods of time wastes gas.
When ready to  nish the bottle, pull the cork.
CAUTION: Use only of cial Coravin Capsules. Coravin Capsules are speci cally designed
for Coravin and are  lled with 99.99% pure argon gas to ensure the best quality performance and
preservation of the wine.
