Maintenance Features
General Safety Warnings:
- Unplug the machine and turn off water supply before maintenance.
- Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners, or all-purpose cleaning agents on the machine.
Water Inlet Filters:
- Filters prevent dirt from entering the machine.
- Clean filters every 2 months or when water supply is insufficient.
- Unscrew hoses, use pliers to remove filters from the water inlet valve and hose end.
- Clean with a soft brush, soapy water, and rinse thoroughly. Re-insert gently.
Pump Filter:
- The pump filter is located behind the cover on the front-lower right corner.
- Clean the pump filter every 2 months to prevent blockages.
- Open the cover, place a container to collect water, loosen the filter by turning anticlockwise, and remove it.
- Clean with a soft brush and rinse. Re-fit and tighten.
Detergent Drawer:
- Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it forward.
- Clean residual detergent and softener with a brush and water.
- Dry the drawer and slot, then replace.
- Do not wash the detergent drawer in a dishwasher.
- For liquid detergent apparatus, remove it and clean remaining residues, ensuring no material remains in the siphon.
Body / Drum:
- Body: Clean the external casing with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent or soap and water, then wipe dry.
- Drum: Avoid leaving metallic objects inside to prevent rust stains. Use a non-chlorine cleaning agent for rust stains, following manufacturer instructions. Do not use wire wool or hard objects.
- Drum Clean Programme: Use for periodic cleaning every 2 months. If unavailable, use Cottons-90 program.
Troubleshooting:
