Harness
1- IMPORTANT: Never use the child car seat on a seat
where an airbag is tted and active. Refer to your
vehicle user manual for information on de-activating
the airbag.
WARNING: Your child car seat can only be installed
rearward facing using a three point lap and diagonal
vehicle belt in the front or rear passenger seats of the
car.
2- Adjust the handle to carrying position 10 11 (1).
Position the child car seat on the vehicle seat, pass the vehicle waist
belt through the side vehicle belt guides (2) and fasten the vehicle belt
buckle(3).
Route the diagonal belt under handle hinge (4) then through rear
vehicle seat belt guide (5).
Tension the diagonal belt (6).
IMPORTANT: The position of the vehicle belt buckle
can aect the stability of thechild car seat. In an
accident this could stop thechild car seat from
protecting your child as well as it should. After
tightening the vehicle belt, if the buckle lies in the
position marked then try tting thechild car seatin
another seating position in your vehicle. If in doubt
consult either thechild car seat manufacturer or retailer.
3- Loosening:
NOTE: Pull only the harness straps.
4- Tightening:
NOTE: The harness must be reasonably tight. It should restrain but not
make the child uncomfortable. Check that the straps are not twisted
while the child is seated.

7- Adjusting the shoulder strap position:
Loosen harness 3 (1).
Disconnect the shoulder straps from the harness connector (2).
8- Pull shoulder strap out of seat (1) and ret at desired position (2).
Reconnect the shoulder straps to the harness connector (3).
Tighten harness 4
Check satisfactory chest pad position.
9- Crotch strap position adjustment:
Push strap clip through seat (1).
Re-position in alternative slot (2).
