Summary

Important Safety Instructions

General Safety Precautions

Read instructions carefully before use, keep documents with appliance, liability disclaimer for improper use, contact for help, keep children away, outdoor use only, and comply with regulations.

Safe Placement and Operation

Ensure correct fitting, stable placement, use specified gas/cylinder, maintain distance from flammables, check connections, change gas safely, monitor leaks, and avoid contact with hot surfaces.

Gas System and Burner Safety

Use correct regulator/hose standards, never alter burner settings, shut off gas on leakage, ensure airflow, do not tamper with injector, no gas pressure conversion, and keep children/pets away.

Operational Safety and Cooling

Wait after use before moving or covering, never leave unattended, ensure supervision for children/pets, do not touch hot lava rocks/logs, and turn off gas supply.

Cover Placement and Usage Guidelines

Wait 1 hour before placing cover to prevent damage/fire, use outdoors only for warmth, use prescribed gas cylinders, take precautions against tilting in wind, and keep manual handy.

Hose Routing and Ventilation

Ensure hose bends downwards towards cylinder, avoiding hot surfaces. Use outdoors or in well-ventilated areas (min 25% open surface area).

Installation Instructions

Installing the Cosicube

Place on a paved, flat, clean surface at least two meters from flammable materials. Load lava rocks and ceramic logs carefully, keeping ignition unit clear.

Initial Heating and Material Care

Run the device at the highest setting for 15 minutes to heat lava stones. Ensure materials are cooled before moving or cleaning.

Placing the Gas Bottle

Gas bottle can be placed inside or outside. If inside, use the hatch. If outside, route hose underneath and place bottle away from traffic and children.

Replacing Gas Cylinder and Components

Replace empty gas bottles after cooling. Replace propane gas hose every four years and regulators every five years. Check for leaks.

Replacing Battery and Moving Unit

Replace AA battery for piezo ignition after cooling. Minimize moving the unit to avoid damage. Ensure new location is clean and flat.

Installing Protective Cover

Use the supplied protective cover to shield against weather. Place cover only after the unit has completely cooled down.

User Manual and Operation

General Usage Guidelines

Follow manual instructions precisely to prevent fire/explosion. Never use flammable liquids nearby. Improper installation can cause injury.

Gas Smell and Maintenance

If a gas smell occurs, turn off the bottle immediately and contact a specialist. Installation and maintenance require a qualified gas fitter.

Placement and Storage

Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Store gas bottles safely outdoors. Store the Cosicube disconnected from the gas bottle.

Operating the Cosicube

Ensure stability. Turn on gas supply by pressing and holding the control knob until ignition within 15 seconds.

Switching Off and Cleaning

Turn the control knob to extinguish flame, then turn off the gas valve on the bottle. Clean burner gauze regularly for optimal performance.
