If you're having trouble opening the lid of your Cosori Electric Pressure Cooker, it could be because the pot is still under pressure. Set the pressure release valve to the position to release any remaining pressure. If the float valve hasn't dropped down, allow the pressure cooker to cool completely.

A burning smell from your Cosori Electric Pressure Cooker during operation typically indicates that there's not enough water, causing food to burn. Add more water according to your recipe. It may also be caused by food debris on the heating plate or the bottom of the inner pot. If this occurs, turn off the pressure cooker, let it cool, and clean these areas.
