The Costway Stand Mixer is a kitchen appliance designed for mixing various food ingredients. It features a powerful motor and comes with different attachments to perform tasks such as kneading dough, beating mixtures, and whisking. The mixer is equipped with a speed control dial, allowing users to select appropriate speeds for different recipes. A tilt-up knob facilitates easy attachment and removal of accessories and the mixing bowl. The appliance also incorporates safety features, including an overload protection system and a safety switch that prevents operation when the mixer head is raised or when the speed control is not set to 0 upon plugging in.

Usage Features:
The stand mixer is designed for household use and offers several features to enhance the user experience:
- Attachments: It includes a Dough Hook with Silver Teflon coating for heavy mixtures like bread or short pastry, a Beater with Silver Teflon coating for medium-heavy mixtures such as crepes or sponge cake, and a Whisk for light mixtures like cream or egg whites.
- Speed Control Dial: A dial with settings from 0 to 6 allows for precise speed adjustment. The dial illuminates blue when in use.
- Pulse Function: This feature provides a quick burst of power for rapid mixing or incorporation of ingredients. It is activated by turning the speed control dial in an anti-clockwise direction and holding it.
- Tilt-up Knob: Simplifies the process of raising and lowering the mixer head, making it easy to attach/remove the mixing bowl and accessories.
- Mixing Bowl: A securely locking mixing bowl ensures stability during operation.
- Safety Interlocks: The motor will not start if the mixer head is raised or if the speed control is not set to 0 when plugged in. This prevents accidental operation and enhances user safety.
- Overload Protection System: A thermal protector safeguards the motor from overheating due to overload or prolonged continuous operation. If activated, the appliance needs to be switched off, unplugged, and allowed to cool for at least 30 minutes before reuse.
- Splash Guard: An included splash guard helps prevent splattering during mixing.
Operating Procedure:
- Ensure the Speed Control Dial is set to "OFF" (0).
- Lift the mixer head by rotating the Tilt Button upwards until it locks in the elevated position.
- Attach the Splash Guard to the upper body.
- Fit the mixing bowl onto the mixer stand and turn it clockwise to lock it securely.
- Insert the desired accessory (Dough Hook, Beater, or Whisk) by aligning its grooves with the attachment shaft, pushing it towards the mixer head, lifting the attachment shaft spring, and twisting it anti-clockwise to lock it in place.
- Add ingredients to the mixing bowl, ensuring not to overfill (max 2.0 kg mixture).
- Lower the mixer head by rotating the Tilt Button downwards until it locks in the horizontal position, ensuring the attachment is inside the mixing bowl.
- Plug the power cord into the mains supply. The Speed Control light will flash blue.
- Turn the Speed Control Dial clockwise to select a speed (1-6) and begin mixing. Start at a lower speed to prevent splattering and gradually increase as needed.
- To use the Pulse Function, turn the dial anti-clockwise and hold.
- Once mixing is complete, turn the Speed Control Dial to "OFF," switch off at the power outlet, and unplug the cord.
- Remove the attachment by lifting the mixer head, pushing the attachment towards the mixer head, lifting the attachment shaft spring, and twisting it clockwise to unlock.
- Clean the parts as described in the maintenance section.
Mixing Guide:
- Dough Hook: Levels 1-3, 3 minutes. For heavy mixtures (e.g., bread or short pastry). Recommended maximum: 1000g flour and 530g water.
- Beater: Levels 2-4, 3 minutes. For medium-heavy mixtures (e.g., crepes or sponge mixture). Recommended maximum: 660g flour and 840g water.
- Whisk: Levels 5-6, 3 minutes. For light mixtures (e.g., cream, egg white, blancmange). Recommended minimum: 3 egg whites.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Never immerse the appliance in any liquid.
- Hand wash the Dough Hook, Beater, Whisk, and mixing bowl in warm soapy water with a soft cloth after each use. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Note: The Die-casting Aluminium Dough Hook and Beater are not dishwasher safe.
- Clean the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth only.
- Avoid exposing parts to heat or caustic cleaners, as this may cause misshaping or discoloration.
- Do not use sharp or abrasive detergents.
- Disposal: The device should not be disposed of with normal domestic waste. It must be disposed of through a registered waste disposal firm or communal waste disposal facility, adhering to valid regulations.
Important Safeguards:

- Do not immerse the base in water or other liquids to prevent electric shock.
