Overview

This document describes a Ride-On Car (Model TY327424) designed for children, emphasizing safety, assembly, operation, and maintenance.

Function Description:

The Ride-On Car is a battery-powered toy vehicle designed to provide children with an enjoyable riding experience. It features both manual operation via a foot pedal and remote control operation for adult supervision. The car is equipped with a power switch, forward/backward switch, music switch, volume control, and high/low speed buttons. It also includes a 3.5 mm audio input connector and an optional digital voltmeter to monitor battery charge. The remote control allows adults to steer, move forward, backward, and stop the vehicle, ensuring safety and control, especially for younger riders. The vehicle is designed for use on flat, stable surfaces, such as inside a house, garden, or playground, and is not intended for use on roadways, near cars, on steep inclines, or near bodies of water.

  • Maximum User Weight: 77 lbs
  • Maximum Speed: 3-5 km/h
  • Safety Standards: ASTM F963; GB6675; EN71 and EN62115 standard.

Usage Features:

  • Dual Operation Modes: Can be operated manually by the child using a foot pedal or remotely by an adult using a 2.4G or normal remote controller. The remote control takes precedence over the foot pedal.
  • Speed Control: Features high and low-speed settings, selectable via buttons on the vehicle or the remote control.
  • Direction Control: Forward and backward movement controlled by a switch on the vehicle or joysticks on the remote.
  • Entertainment: Includes a music switch for sounds and a volume knob. An optional 3.5 mm audio input allows connection of external music devices.
  • Battery Indicator (Optional): A digital voltmeter displays the remaining battery power, indicating when recharging is needed.
  • Safety Belts: Adjustable play seat belts are included, and children should be instructed on how to use them.
  • Charging: The battery is charged by plugging the charger into a dedicated port on the vehicle and then into a wall outlet. Charging should always be done by an adult with the power switch in the "OFF" position.
  • Remote Control Pairing (2.4G): The 2.4G remote requires a connection process by long-pressing the frequency button and then turning on the vehicle.
  • Automatic Shutdown: The remote controller will automatically shut down after about 10 seconds of idling to save battery.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Inspection: Parents are responsible for regularly checking main parts for potential hazards such as loose screws, damaged cables, or worn parts. The toy should not be used until any damage is properly repaired.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the vehicle. Non-wax furniture polish can be used to restore shine to plastic parts. Avoid car wax or abrasive cleaners. Do not wash with a hose or soap and water, and avoid driving in rainy or snowy weather to prevent damage to the motor, electrical system, and battery.
  • Lubrication: Occasionally use a lightweight oil to lubricate moving parts like wheels.
  • Storage: Park the vehicle indoors or cover it with a tarp to protect it from wet weather. Keep away from heat sources.
  • Battery Care:
    • Recharge the battery after each use.
    • Recharge at least once a month if the vehicle is not used.
    • Do not allow the battery to drain completely.
    • Do not overcharge (maximum 20 hours).
    • The battery features a thermal fuse that trips if overloaded, restoring power after 20 seconds when the unit is turned OFF and then ON again.
  • Battery Replacement and Disposal:
    • The battery will eventually lose its ability to hold a charge (1-3 years).
    • Replacement involves removing the car seat, disconnecting connectors, removing the bracket and cover, and carefully lifting the battery.
    • Dead batteries must be recycled responsibly as they contain lead acid; they should not be thrown in household waste or incinerated.
    • Always secure the battery with its bracket to prevent it from falling out.
  • Electrical System: Do not modify the electric circuit system or tamper with it. Inspect wires and connections periodically.
  • Usage Environment: Avoid driving in loose dirt, sand, or fine gravel, which can damage moving parts and motors.
  • Power Off: Turn off the power switch and disconnect the battery connection when not in use.
