Safety
• Never use theproduct if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged or does
not work properly.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic 220–240V, 50/60Hz
electrical supply.
• Never attempt to repair or modify theproduct in anyway.
• Never use theproduct if it does not work properly or if thehousing, mains lead or
plug is damaged in anyway.
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
• Theproduct is only intended for indoor use in adry, clean environment. Neverposition
theproduct in such away that it might fall into water or other liquid.
• Never position theproduct in such away that it comes into contact with hot surfaces.
• Always unplug theproduct from thepower point when it is not inuse.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
• Theproduct is only intended for personal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Never poke your fingers or foreign objects through thegrille while thefan is operating.
• Never leave children unsupervised in thevicinity of theproduct.
• Never expose theproduct to water or other liquids.
• Do not turn on thepower before theproduct is completely assembled. Theproduct
must only be used in theupright position, never horizontally or when it is lying on itsside.
• Never turn theproduct off by pulling theplug out of thewall socket. Turnoff
theproduct using thepower button and then unplug it from thewall socket.
• Make sure that theproduct is completely assembled before using it for thefirsttime.
• Never use theproduct in areas where explosive gases or substances are stored.
• Do not use theproduct in excessively humid or dusty environments or in
environments in which thetemperature exceeds 40°C.
• Persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of
experience and knowledge which renders them incapable of using theproduct in asafe
way, must not be allowed to use theproduct without proper supervision or instruction.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
