problems please contact our Customer Service Department.
For safety…
1. Read the entire instruction manual before use.
2. The charger is only intended for charging rechargeable nickel-cadmium and nickel-metal
hydride batteries. Attempts to charge other types of battery could result in personal injury
and damage to the charger.
3. Only charge one type of battery at a time, either Ni-Cd or Ni-MH.
4. Do not charge the batteries for longer than stated in the above table.
Overcharging can damage both charger and battery.
5. Do not expose the charger to rain or moisture. The charger is only intended for indoor use.
6. Unplug the charger when it is not in use.
Use
1. Insert 2 or 4 rechargeable LR6 (= AA) or LR03 (= AAA) Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries into the battery
compartment. NOTE! The batteries must be charged in pairs.
2. Insert the batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ or –) marked in the battery compartment.
3. When charging just two batteries, they should be placed at the front of the compartment.
4. When charging LR03 batteries the removable terminal plates must be positioned before inserting
the batteries. The LR03 batteries will then fit the compartment. The charger will then automatically
switch to a suitable current for the batteries.
5. Connect the charger to a normal 230 V wall socket. The LED will come on straight away to indicate
that charging has begun.
6. Keep track of the charging time. Unplug the charger from the mains and plug it in again each time
the batteries are recharged.
