This includes basic operations like opening, closing, and stopping blinds, as well as advanced programming capabilities such as pairing blinds to channels, setting favorite positions, and adjusting the direction of rotation. The remote supports both individual blind control and simultaneous control of multiple blinds.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Battery: The remote is powered by a CR2032 1.5V battery. For replacement, two CR2016 1.5V batteries can also be used.
  • Channels: It supports 5 channels, allowing for the organization and control of multiple blinds or groups of blinds.
  • Max. Blinds per Channel: The remote can control an infinite number of blinds per channel, offering flexibility for large installations.
  • Range (inside building): It has an effective range of 20 meters, capable of penetrating 2 concrete walls, ensuring reliable operation within typical indoor environments.
  • Frequency: The remote operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency, a common standard for wireless communication, providing good signal integrity.
  • Weight: The device weighs 56 grams, making it lightweight and easy to handle.

Usage Features:

The ABC-01 remote offers several intuitive usage features:

  • Programming Modes:

    • By Hand: Blinds can be set into program mode by pressing the program button directly on the blind. This allows for simultaneous programming of multiple blinds.
    • SingleSelect Mode (By Remote): This patented method allows setting a blind into program mode remotely. The remote searches for blinds, and once found, the indication LED flashes in the selected channel. This mode also allows for pairing, programming, and operating the selected blind while other blinds remain disconnected.
    • ChannelSelect Mode (By Remote): This method sets all blinds paired in the same channel into program mode. The remote indicates that all blinds are in program mode and stepping.
  • Blind Pairing:

    • Pairing to a Channel: Blinds can be paired to a specific channel on the remote. This involves setting the blind in program mode, choosing a channel with the ChannelSelect button, and then pressing the program button on the blind.
    • Pairing Multiple Blinds Simultaneously: Multiple blinds can be paired to a channel or another remote simultaneously, provided all blinds are in program mode.
  • Operation:

    • Channel Selection: Users can select one of the 5 available channels using the ChannelSelect button.
    • Basic Control: Buttons for "Up/tilt," "Down/tilt," "Left," and "Right" allow for movement of the blinds. A short press results in small movements, while a 2-second press initiates automatic movement.
    • Stop/Favorite Position: A center button acts as a stop function. Pressing it for two seconds sets the current position as a favorite position, allowing for quick recall.
    • Direction of Rotation: The remote allows users to switch the direction of rotation for blinds (Up/Down or Left/Right) if the physical movement does not match the remote's input. For panel and vertical blinds, the remote automatically recognizes the type and adjusts button functions (Up/Right and Down/Left).
  • BatteryMode (Greenmode): This feature allows the RF-unit in the blind to forward radio signals, increasing the remote's range. It can only be activated using the SingleSelect method. Users can turn BatteryMode on or off and confirm with the center button.

  • Remote Holder: The manual illustrates an optional remote holder, suggesting convenient storage for the device.
