Why is my CountyLine RBRC502CL vibrating so much?
    • T
      Tyler NormanAug 6, 2025
Excessive vibration in your CountyLine Cutter can stem from several causes. It could be due to a build-up of material on the blade pan, blades being locked in position (free blades so they swing freely), uneven wear on blade tips (weight should be within 1 oz), a broken blade (always replace in set), or mismatched new blades/bolts with worn ones (replace blades or bolts in sets).

How to fix CountyLine RBRC502CL leaving uncut grass?
    • M
      Mary CoffeyAug 15, 2025
If your CountyLine Cutter is leaving a streak of uncut or partially cut grass, several factors could be responsible. Make sure the rotary cutter is level from side to side by leveling the 3-pt hitch linkage on the tractor. Check if the blade is dull or bent, and sharpen or replace the blades if needed. If the blades are unable to cut grass pressed by the tractor's path, slow down the tractor's ground speed while maintaining full PTO rpm; cutting lower may also help. Lastly, check for and clean any material build-up under the rotary cutter.

Why does my CountyLine RBRC502CL Cutter discharge grass unevenly?
    • L
      lopezheidiAug 18, 2025
Uneven discharge or clumping from your CountyLine Cutter can be caused by a few things. The grass or brush might be too high or thick; in this case, reduce ground speed while maintaining 540 rpm at the tractor PTO, or make two passes, raising the cutter for the first pass and lowering it for the second, preferably cutting at 90° to the first pass. Raising the rear of the cutter to permit material to discharge may also help. Wet grass can also cause this issue, so allow the grass to dry before mowing and slow the tractor's ground speed while keeping the engine running at full PTO rpm; cutting lower can also help.

Why is the CountyLine RBRC502CL Cutter gearbox so noisy?
    • A
      Alvin DavisAug 23, 2025

What to do if CountyLine Cutter blade cuts lower in the center?
    • E
      Ethan FrenchAug 27, 2025
If your CountyLine Cutter blade cuts grass lower in the center of the swath than at the edge, it may be because the height of the rotary cutter is lower at the rear or front. Adjust the rotary cutter height and altitude so that the rear and front are within 1/2” of the same height.

What to do if my CountyLine Cutter will not cut?
    • P
      Paul FloresSep 1, 2025
If your CountyLine Cutter won't cut, the shear bolt may have sheared. Install a new shear bolt (Grade 2 Shear Bolt).
