What to do if COXREELS 100W Tools have no electrical current at output end of cable?
    • A
      Andrew ThompsonAug 3, 2025
If there is no electrical current at the output end of the cable, it could be due to a severed cable, in which case you should replace the cable. Alternatively, the slip ring brushes may be worn, requiring replacement. Ensure that the current does not exceed the rated amperage.

Why does COXREELS Tools reel keep turning when I stop pulling the hose/cable?
    • J
      Joel GonzalezAug 8, 2025
The reel might keep turning because the tension drag brake is too loose, causing hose or cable backlash. To fix this, adjust the tension drag brake by turning the fastener clockwise.

What to do if COXREELS 100W fluid path is leaking or damaged?
    • M
      Michael StevensAug 12, 2025
If the fluid path is leaking or damaged, it could be because the maximum pressure rating for the reel has been exceeded. Replace or repair any damaged components, and check the maximum pressure rating of the reel. It could also be that the application is not compatible with the plumbing and/or swivel seal materials; in this case, contact the factory to determine chemical compatibility or environmental issues such as temperature rating.

How to fix COXREELS 100W Tools hose/cable that will not fully fit on to drum of reel?
    • E
      Ethan WhiteAug 17, 2025
If the hose or cable will not fully fit on the drum of the reel, it could be because the hose or cable is longer than specified, so cut it down to meet the reel's specified capacity. It might also be that the outside diameter of the hose is larger than specification, so replace the hose with one that meets the specified maximum outside diameter requirements. Another possibility is that the hose or cable was not hand-guided onto the reel and wound up evenly on the drum, so hand-guide the hose or cable onto the drum to wrap evenly as it is wound onto the reel.

What causes fluid leaks from swivel on COXREELS 100W?
    • B
      Brian Webb Jr.Aug 22, 2025
Fluid leaks from the swivel are often caused by damaged or worn swivel seals. Replace the swivel seals. Make sure the leak is not at the hose fitting!

What to do if the drum of my COXREELS 100W Tools reel is crushed or damaged?
    • T
      tammylaneAug 28, 2025
If the drum of the reel is crushed or damaged, it is likely because the hose was not charged when initially installed on the reel. Replace the damaged drum and install the hose per instructions.
