What to do if my COZY CDV305D Furnace won't ignite?
    • J
      jessica01Aug 15, 2025
If your COZY Furnace fails to ignite, possible causes include the main gas being off (open all manual gas valves), the thermostat not being set high enough (set it to a higher temperature), a clogged burner orifice (clean it, but do not enlarge it), incorrect or defective thermostat wiring (check the wiring, jump across the thermostat terminals at the valve; if the valve opens, re-check the wires and replace the thermostat if needed), or a defective valve (replace the valve).

How to check incorrect gas input in COZY CDV305D Furnace?
    • P
      Patrick WilliamsAug 18, 2025
Incorrect gas input in your COZY Furnace may be due to the gas input not being checked (re-check the gas input) or a clogged orifice (clean the orifice with a smooth wood toothpick, do not enlarge).

Why is my COZY CDV305D burner not turning off?
    • D
      David ZamoraAug 22, 2025
If your COZY Furnace burner won’t turn off, it could be due to a defective or damaged thermostat wire or thermostat (remove the wire from the valve terminal; if the valve goes off, replace the wire or thermostat), the thermostat location (follow the installation instructions and check the location), a defective or sticking valve (clean or replace the valve), or excessive gas pressure (contact the utility supplying the gas).

What to do if my COZY CDV305D pilot and main burner go out during normal operation?
    • D
      Dennis AllisonAug 26, 2025
If the pilot and main burner of your COZY Furnace go out during normal operation, it may be due to a weak powerpile or thermocouple (check millivoltage and replace if low), input being too high (check input rate), the cover around the pilot lighter hole not being airtight (tighten wing nuts securing the cover and sight glass; check and replace the gasket if needed), vent tubes not properly installed or sealed (follow the instructions, check both exhaust and air intake tubes and vent cap; be sure all gaskets are in place and properly sealed; use only tubes and vent cap supplied, do not alter vent tubes or cap), or incorrect vent tubes (replace with correct tubes).

    Anna CampbellAug 28, 2025
Why is my COZY Furnace not producing enough heat?
    • T
      Teresa CarrilloAug 28, 2025
If your COZY Furnace isn't producing enough heat, the furnace might be undersized (have the heat loss calculated and compare it to the furnace output; your gas company can supply you with this information; if the furnace is undersized, replace it with the correct size unit), the thermostat might be set too low (raise the temperature setting), or the supply pressure might be incorrect (check the supply pressure).

    Joshua BowmanAug 31, 2025
Why is my COZY CDV305D flame too large?
    • K
      Kathleen MccoyAug 31, 2025
If the flame in your COZY Furnace is too large, it could be due to a defective operator section of the valve (replace the valve), a burner orifice that is too large (check with the local gas company for the proper orifice size and replace it), or if the furnace is installed above 2,000 ft (see burner orifice section, Page 13).
  • A
    Andrew HolmesSep 3, 2025
What causes yellow burner flame in COZY Furnace?
    • C
      Cheryl CantuSep 4, 2025
A yellow burner flame in your COZY Furnace can be caused by clogged burner ports (remove the main burner and check for obstructions in the throat, ports, and orifices; clean, but do not enlarge ports or orifices) or an obstruction around the vent cap (make sure the area around the vent cap is clear, and be sure the vent system is sealed).
  • M
    Matthew AyalaSep 7, 2025
Why does my COZY Furnace have delayed ignition?
    • M
      Maxwell BakerSep 7, 2025
Delayed ignition in your COZY Furnace can occur if the pilot flame is too small (adjust the pilot flame), burner ports are clogged at the pilot (clean burner ports, but do not enlarge them), gas pressure is low (check gas supply pressure), or the pilot decreases in size when the main burners come on (the supply piping is too small; consult the local gas company or a competent installer).
  • D
    Denise MullinsSep 12, 2025
What causes too much heat from COZY CDV305D?
    • M
      Marc SmithSep 12, 2025
If your COZY Furnace is producing too much heat, it might be because the thermostat is set too high (lower the temperature setting) or the combination control valve is stuck open (replace the combination control valve).
