Why is food sticking or burning on my CPG Griddle?
    • S
      stephaniekimAug 21, 2025
There are several reasons why food might stick, burn, or not cook properly on your CPG Griddle: * The heat may be set too high. If so, turn the heat down. * The griddle surface may need cleaning and/or re-seasoning. Clean the griddle surface. If food is cooking too quickly on the outside, turn the heat down and increase the cook time. * The food may not have been cooked long enough. If it's undercooked on the outside, turn the heat up and increase the cook time. * Moisture in the food might be turning into steam. This is normal, but you can also turn the heat down.

Why does my CPG Cooktop food taste greasy?
    • A
      Alexandra House DVMAug 25, 2025
If your food tastes greasy or has an objectionable off-flavor when using your CPG Cooktop, it could be due to several reasons. The food itself may not be fresh, or it might have been stored improperly before cooking. You may be using too much fat, or the heat may be set too low. Check the raw product for freshness, verify storage containers and use-by dates, use less fat, or turn the heat up.
