MATCH THE CODE IN NEW AND EXISTING TRANSMITTERS
Remove the cover screw in NEW transmitter. Turn case over to access code switches #1 through #9. Be careful not
to move circuit board components. Locate code switches in c_iginal transmitter(s), (Refer to illustration)_ Set code switches
in the 3_Function Mini Transmitter to the same positions as code switches in the original transmitter.
NOTE 1: Code switches #2 through #g in ALL transmitters used to operate a receiver must be sot to match. (Coda
switch #1 on 8 3-function transmitter Is neutral. Set it to ANY position. It will not affect the code selected.
NOTE 2: If the original transmltter(s) has only 7 or 8 code switches, set code switches #8 and!or #9 to center
(0) position tn new transmitter.

1o Press the 'SR' code button on your receiver (illt_tra-
tion A). The indicator light wilt turn ONe
2. STAND AWAY FROM DOOR and press the transmit-
ter's SELECTED PUSH BUTTON. The indicator light
will turn OFFand door will move.Code in receiver now
matches transmitter(s) code and will activatewhen the
selected transmitter push button is pressed,
NOTE: I! transmitter push button ts not pressed
within 30 seconds, the Indicator light will turn OFF.
Repeat 1 and 2,
To use the 3-Function Mtnl Transmitter with other
53000SR Serlse receivers: Select another transmitter
pushbutton tooperate e Light Controlor additional garage
door opener. Make sure all transmitters used to operate
receiver are set to the same cote (as described above).
Then repeal I and 2.
You can select adifferent transmitter push button tooper-
ate each device.

Tousethe 3-FuncttonMlnl Transmitterwith other 53000
Series receivers: Set receiver code switch #1 to match
thepositionof anothertransmitterpush button. Then set
remaining code switches to match transmitter(s)code
switches,
Code switches #2 through #9 in all transmitters used
to operate the receiver MUST be set to matching
positions.
