What to do if the line won't feed on my Craftsman Trimmer?

If the line on your Craftsman Trimmer isn't feeding, there are several potential causes. First, the lines might be stuck together due to heat or storage. In this case, unplug the trimmer, open the spool cover, remove the spool, and unwind the line before rewinding it. Another reason could be that there's not enough line on the spool, so replace the line or the entire spool assembly. Also, tangled lines can prevent feeding, so you should unwind and remove any tangled line before rewinding. Try cutting tall grass from the top down to prevent wrapping. Make sure the power cord is plugged in and check the circuit breaker. If those don't work, try another extension cord or wall receptacle.
