Why Craftsman 580.768340 Pressure Washer engine will not start or starts and runs rough?

If your Craftsman Pressure Washer's engine won't start or runs rough, several issues could be the cause. First, check the oil level and fill the crankcase if it's low. A dirty air cleaner can also be the culprit, so clean or replace it. Make sure you have gasoline in the tank; if the gasoline is stale, drain the tank and fill it with fresh fuel. Ensure the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it's bad. Also, drain the gas tank and fill it with fresh fuel if there is water in the gasoline. If you've overchoked the engine, open the choke fully and crank it. For excessively rich fuel mixture, intake valve issues, or loss of engine compression, contact a Sears service facility.
