SERVICE AN ADJUSTMENTS
TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB
° Raise hood.
o Pull bulb holder out of the hote in the backside of the
grill.
= Replace bulb in holder and push buib holder securely
back intothe hole in the backside of the grill.
Close hood,
BNTERLOCKS AND RELAYS
Loose or damaged wiring may cause your tractor to run
poorly, stop running, or prevent it from starting.
. Check wiring. See electrical wiring diagram in the
Repair Parts section of this manual,
TO REPLACE FUSE
Replace with 30 am p automotive-type plug-in fuse. The
fuse holder is located behind the dash.
TO ADJUST ATTACHMENT LIFT SPR_NG
(See Fig, 35}
- While holding spring bushing with wrench, loosen jam
nut.
* Turn adjustment bolt clockwise to extend spdng and
reduce lift effort for heavier attachments.
Turn adjustment bolt counterclockwise for lighter at-
tachments.
Retighten jam nut against spring bushing,
UMPORTANT: DO NOTADJUST FOR MAXIMUM SPRING
TENSION WHEN USING L1GHT ATTACHMENTS SUCH
ASAMOWER ADJUST LiFT LEVER SPRING TOAIDtN
UFT]NG ATTACHMENT DO NOT OVERPOWER SPRING,
WHEN REMOVING ATTACHMENT, ALWAYS ADJUST
SPRING TENSION TO ITS LOWEST POSITION.

, Raise hoods
o Unsnap'headlight wi_e connector,
Stand in front of t_acto_. Grasp hood at sides, ti_ttoward
engine and lift off of tractor.
To _ep]ace, reversal above procedures.

TO ADJUST THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE
(See Fig, 37)
The throttte control has been preset at the factory and
adjustment should not be necessary. Check adjustment as
described below before looSening cable, tf adjustment is
necessary, proceed as follows:
* With engine not running, move throttle control lever to
fast (@) position.
. Check that speed control lever is against stop screw. If
it is not, loosen casing clamp screw and pull throttle
cable until lever is against screw. Tighten clamp screw
securely.
