What to do if my Craftsman Tractor engine fails to start?
    • B
      Brendan WilsonAug 13, 2025
If your Craftsman Tractor engine fails to start, first ensure the PTO/Blade Engage lever is disengaged (OFF). Engage the parking brake. Check that the spark plug wires are connected to the spark plugs. Position the Throttle/Choke lever into the FAST position and move the Throttle/Choke lever into the Choke position. Also, verify that the fuel tank has clean, fresh gas (less than 30 days old).
