Attaching an Extension Cord (Fig. C)
WARNING: Ensure the ON/OFF switch
is not engaged to reduce the risk of starting the
applianceaccidentally.
A cord retention hook6 is incorporated into the rear of the
handle on the powerhead.
1. Near the end of the extension cord, fold the extension
cord to create aloop.
2. Feed the loop into the cord retainer housing10 as
shown in Fig.C
3. Hook the loop onto the cord retention hook6 so it rests
in the cordretainer.
4. Plug the extension cord into theunit.

blower tube opening as shown in Fig. B.
2. Push the blower tube onto the power head until the tube
locks

engage the blower tube and an audible click
isheard.
3. Pull on the tube to ensure it is securely inplace.
4. To remove the blower tube, squeeze both tabs

on the
side of the power head and pull the blower tube off.
OPERATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of
serious personal injury, turn unit off and
disconnect it from power source before making
any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up
can causeinjury.
Proper Hand Position (Fig. D)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, ALWAYS use proper hand position
asshown.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, ALWAYS hold securely in anticipation
of a suddenreaction.
Proper hand position requires one hand on the main handle2.
WARNING: Do not operate blower
without blow tube securely in place. Never reach down
into housing through tubehole.
WARNING: Always wear safety
glasses. Wear a filter mask if the operation is dusty.
Use of rubber gloves and substantial footwear is
recommended when working outdoors. Keep long hair
and loose clothing away from openings and moving
parts. For household useonly.
WARNING: Cut Hazard. When turning
the tool off, wait 10 seconds for the fan to stop rotating
beforeremoving the blowertube.
Always ensure the blower is switched OFF and
disconnected from the power supply when:
- You leave blowerunattended.
- Clearing ablockage.
- Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working onblower.
Only use blower in daylight or good artificiallight.
Switching ON/OFF (Fig. A, D)
WARNING: Use both hands to grip the
product firmly when switchingon.
CAUTION: Do not point unit discharge at
self orbystanders.
Your blower is fitted with a 2 speed ON/OFF switch located
on the top of the main handle

To switch the blower ON, slide the ON/OFF

switch
forward to position1.
To operate blower in high speed, slide the ON/OFF
1
switch forward to position2.
To switch the blower off, slide the ON/OFF
1
switchback.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: To reduce the risk of
serious personal injury, turn unit off and
disconnect it from power source before making
any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up
can causeinjury.
Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out
of all air vents with clean, dry air at least once a
week. To minimize the risk of eye injury, always
wear ANSI Z87.1approved eye protection when
performingthisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other
harsh chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic parts
of the tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic
materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened
only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get
inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into
aliquid.
